Yellowish green Congo tourmaline. It is eye clean - we had to use the microscope to find anything that could remotely be considered a flaw.
Tourmaline deposits are found throughout the world, from Brazil to California to Africa. They come in a rainbow of colors, including black, pink, yellow, green, and blue. Notable specialty species include chrome (vibrant emerald green caused by chromium and vanadium), rubellite (deep reddish pink), indigolite (a lovely blue green), and the famous Paraiba (vibrant blue green from copper). Tourmalines can be bi or even tri color, including the delightful watermelon that is pink surrounded by green.

Clarity Grading
Clarity is based on inclusions visible to the naked eye. Sometimes we will note if there are inclusions visible with a 10x loupe or microscope. Note, our macro photographs will sometimes show inclusions that aren't detectable with the naked eye
